Watercolor 101 Basics: Learn To Paint

Learn to watercolor paint in this video course! We will go over all the basic watercolor techniques and tools you will need to know to get painting! This is a pay what you want course so that it is available and accessible to all.

The first part of the video is talking about the basic watercolor techniques. In the second part, we will create the abstract landscape pictured in the cover photo.

Techniques talked about in this video course:

Wet on wet, wet on dry, using salt, masking fluid, gel pens & white ink, value scales, pen & ink, scrubbing, and splatter. I will also show how I swatch my colors so that I can see what they are.

Watercolor Brushes, Paints, and Paper

Pencil

Paper Towel

White Gel Pen & White Ink (optional)

Table Salt (optional)

Masking Fluid (optional)
